The European Geothermal Congress 2025 (EGC 2025) will take place on 6–10 October 2025 at the Kongresshaus Zürich in Switzerland. Recognized as Europe’s flagship event for the geothermal sector, the congress gathers stakeholders from industry, research, policy, and finance to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in geothermal energy.
The programme features plenary sessions, technical lectures, workshops, poster sessions, and an exhibition with over 40 companies and organisations showcasing technologies and solutions. Networking is a key focus, with dedicated one-to-one business meetings, project workshops, and matchmaking events on 7–8 October. Participants will also have the opportunity to join site visits and excursions to see geothermal projects in action, alongside social highlights such as a gala dinner.
