The full scope included front-end engineering and design, well test equipment procurement, wellbore simulations, programme development, geochemical sampling, and field execution — delivering a rigorous, independently managed testing campaign to characterise Montserrat’s geothermal resource for future development planning.
Coil Tubing Well Intervention Campaign
JRG Energy managed a coil tubing well intervention campaign across two major production wells for the Philippines’ Energy Development Corporation. The project encompassed pre-job planning and engineering, procurement of specialised tools, site supervision, operator training and comprehensive reporting. The intervention delivered over 7 additional MW of combined output across the two wells, delivering a significant and measurable improvement in field productivity.

JRG Energy is a core delivery partner for the NZ-MFAT funded FRENZ programme supporting geothermal and renewable energy development across the Caribbean. Activities span geoscience studies, feasibility, drilling supervision, environmental planning, and capacity building. Countries supported include Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent, with broader engagement across Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, and regional organisations including the OECS, CDB, and CCREEE.
