Eastland Generation Technical Due Diligence

JRG Energy conducted a technical due diligence for Obayashi Corporation focusing on subsurface elements of Eastland Generation’s geothermal assets at Kawerau. The review was instrumental in Obayashi’s decision to acquire a 50% stake in Eastland Generation. It assessed current resources available for power generation, alignment with the owner’s business plan, potential additional capital expenditures, and identified key uncertainties, risks and mitigation strategies associated with the geothermal resource.
