Funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (NZ MFAT), JRG Energy led a Needs Assessment for drilling equipment asset management across four partner organisations: Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP, Ethiopia), Geothermal Development Company (GDC, Kenya), Tanzania Geothermal Development Company (TGDC, Tanzania), and Office de Développement de l’Energie Géothermique (ODDEG, Djibouti). Deliverables included site visits, equipment analysis, staff interviews, and specialised training programmes, with remote support to improve equipment performance and extend operational lifespan.
