DTS Fibre Optic Monitoring System Installation

JRG Energy was appointed to procure and install a Distributed Temperature
Sensing (DTS) fibre optic monitoring system in the BO-2 monitoring well at
the Bouillante geothermal field. The installation enables continuous remote
monitoring of the downhole temperature profile and downhole pressure
measurement via capillary tubing — replacing the need for regular PTS
logging runs and satisfying legislative monitoring requirements with a more
efficient, permanent solution.
