JRG Energy conducted a preliminary red flag review for Leo Lithium of a geothermal lithium project targeting the lower Permian reservoir in Poland, with reported lithium concentrations of 200–260 mg/L. The review assessed exploration work completed to date, direct lithium extraction (DLE) potential, geothermal output for district heating, CAPEX/OPEX estimates, district heating connection feasibility, and regulatory and permitting plans —identifying key risks and data gaps for a subsequent detailed due diligence.
