Leyte, Philippines 2017: Geothermal scale removal and well analysis

  • JRG Energy teamed up with industry leaders SGS to perform another round of scale removal techniques and well bore analysis in Leyte, Philippines. 

  • The team faced a number of challenges facing wells after the tragic earthquake hit prior to their arrival, but managed to roll through adversity and produce positive results for the client. 

  • The campaign was very successful and the team is scheduled to return later this year for yet another round.

 

 

 

 

 

New Zealand 2017: Oil and Gas well stimulation

  • JRG Energy team members worked along side the NZ upstream team of SGS to perform a number of cased hole wireline, slickline and well testing services to deep gas wells in New Plymouth, New Zealand. 

  • Team members handled a number of roles including site supervision, client liaison, engineering and technical support throughout the campaign.

Armenia 2016: Wireline/Well Test of two-geothermal slim wells

  • JRG Energy sent an experience team composed of a Geologist, Wireline Engineer, and Well Test/Sampling Expert to Southern Armenia for the management and testing of two-slim geothermal production wells. 

  • The team worked with local suppliers to share information, teach geothermal testing techniques, and collect quality data for analysis.

  • The results will be published once both wells are completed but everyone is excited about the future here.

 

 

 

 

 

New Zealand 2017: Mining Project

  • Two of JRG Energy's project engineering team members took their engineering and project management skill sets to the mining industry. The pair worked at Taharoa Mine for a number of months to assist with iron ore production on the West Coast of New Zealand. 

  • Team members handled a number of roles including site supervision, client liaison, engineering and technical support throughout the campaign.

Philippines 2016: Wireline Broaching used for scale removal

  • JRG Energy teamed up with industry leaders SGS to perform a scale removal technique throughout the Philippines. 

  • The team brought in equipment from Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, as well as manufacturing and acquiring gear locally for the job. 

  • The campaign is still ongoing with results soon to follow.

 

 

 

 

 

Mexico 2015: Capillary Tubing Installation

  • JRG Energy engineer was engaged to help design, manufacture and install a complete capillary tubing system in Mexico

  • The work was performed in collaboration with Quimica Apollo, a Mexican chemical and service company, who supplied the chemical and specialized capillary unit.

  • 19 different wells were chosen for the chemical inhibition systems, with most of them having two different tubing strings in each. The results were positive and the client saw immediate results that are still showing.
