The 52nd Congress of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH 2025) will be held from September 15–19, 2025, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Victoria, Australia. Under the theme “Groundwater Now and for the Future,” this landmark event marks the return of the World Groundwater Congress to Australia after 12 years. Organised in conjunction with the 2025 Australasian Groundwater Conference, the congress aims to address critical issues in groundwater science and sustainability, providing a platform for global experts to exchange knowledge and collaborate on solutions.
The congress will feature a comprehensive program, including keynote presentations, technical sessions, workshops, and field trips, focusing on sustainable groundwater management and the challenges posed by climate change and population growth.
